- Supported the ex-EVP Sales of Pangea to invest in distressed Telecom Operators/Assets. Despite finding sufficient finance and reviewing a number of possible business cases we only found one company to make a bid on an Alaska/Oregon USA optical SDH/DWDM/IP network.
- Evaluation of a number of solutions for an entrepreneur to develop a Storage/Disaster Recovery based company in the North East.
- Providing assistance to a group of Scandinavian entrepreneurs, reviewing a variety of business proposals including work on 'WiFi' and 'VOIP' providing an overview of the Pan European Telecoms' Market.
- Provided, on an ad-hoc/freelance basis, support to a colleague to help him set up a monthly industry newsletter (www.subcablenews.com). I attend conferences on its behalf and recently interviewed Ben Verwaayen CEO of BT Group.

6SConsultants can provide project consultancy to a wide range of companies and businesses involved in Developing High Technology Equipment, Projects and Services. 6SConsultants has considerable experience of Business Management and overall Project Management on contracts up to $400m in value, including leading project teams and liaising with various world-wide customers. 6SConsultants has experience in working at levels within a Company from board level to shop floor and expertise in dealing with customers, suppliers and government agencies. Detailed work includes;
- Devising, Negotiating and Delivering profitable contracts and subcontracts
- Management of Telecom, IT and Construction type projects.
- Developing Project Plans based within a PRINCE II type project environment.
6SConsultants has, in response to customer demand, developed a specific portfolio of services for the Telecommunication and Power cable industry. This is a partnership with Rod James a leading Consultant in the Cable Industry with a vast amount of Power Cable experience: Recent projects undertaken have included;
- Basslink, Isle of Man Interconnector, Dong Ting Lake (China) and various Oil&Gas projects.
- AJC, APCN2, Alaska - Oregon, Pangea, ARCOS, PLDT, Azores, Greece

In addition 6SConsultants provides advice to other Insurance Brokers, Legal Teams and individual companies.
